Part of the Change Your Way Campaign

Project Goal

We believe that getting people to change their habits is one of the most difficult challenges we face as human beings that are trying to preserve our environment. But we also understand that it is a necessary first step in achieving a global change towards human behavior that honors water and its role in the life of the planet.

We believe true change begins in the consciousness of the individual that then reaches out to re-create that change in the areas of his/her influence. When people awake to the impact of their own actions on the planet’s water and begin to change their daily habits, the natural next step will be for them to begin to change industry practices and the laws governing them.

Project Overview

In the summer of 2006, six JuntoVenture team members took fourteen students hailing from five different California college campuses, on a 2 week road trip to one of America’s most precious glaciated national parks, Glacier National Park to film the “Are You Afraid of the World” documentary.

Along with Glacier National Park, the team also visited places in Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California to film locations that depicted multiple water outlets and inlets.

During the trip, the students collaborated to create proactive cross-university strategies to inspire others to implement more eco-friendly living habits.
